第一、审题。高考作文主要是提供一定的素材,要求学生以材料为基础,对材料进行综合、说明,并对某一问题、某一事件阐明自己的看法、态度。作文材料的提供往往有三种类型,即文字型、图表型、图画型。所以,学生在动笔之前,对作文要点的把握,对文章的逻辑结构,对语言的运用,应该有一个清醒的思路。特别是对图表型、图画型题材的文章,更应该认真审题,找出文章的要点。因为评卷的一个很关键的因素就是文章是否涵盖题目所提供的要点。根据评分标准,对遗漏要点的扣分标准是相当严格的。另外,在审题时,切忌偏题离题,东拉西扯,不得要领。也忌重复冗繁,条理不清,重点不突出。从以往的阅卷情况看,有相当一部分考生,在动笔之前,不认真思考。写完之后,才发现要点遗漏,文章结构安排不合理,字数超标等等问题。如果回转头再修改润饰,既费时,同时也影响卷面整洁。例如:

第二,受青睐的作文往往是用词用句精练、到位、准确的文章。要尽可能多地运用比较熟悉的词组、短语、句式以确保文章通顺流畅,切忌写出中文式的英语。另外,在用词上,要尽量做到具体形象,不要抽象化,单一化。比如表达某物漂亮,我们可以避开very beautiful,而用beyond description;对某人感激可以说Words failed me when I wanted to express thanks to him. 在词法上,要在使用动词、非谓语动词、副词、介词及词语活用上下功夫。试想,在表达“人群大量涌出某个地方”时,用flow效果肯定不错。在句法上,要尽量避免句式的单一化,应做到各种句式转换自如,如强调句、倒装句、各种从句、省略句等。比如表达“你家的旁边有条小河”,应用Beside your house runs a small river.就是一个不错的选择。当然,在词法句法上的亮点,应以一定的基本功为前提。切忌为了片面追求亮点,写出不知所云的文章。

第三,行文的连贯也是评卷老师比较看重的一个方面。为了使文章整体结构严谨,浑然一体,增强文章的说服力和感染力,考生应该在句子与句子之间,段落与段落之间使用一些过渡性的词语。不用适当的连接词,往往会出现语言断层现象,或者一篇文章成一段文章,这些都是阅卷老师不欣赏的。比较常见的连接词如下:however, otherwise, of course, I think, as far as I know, on the one hand, on the other hard, whatt more, whats worse, to make things worse, moreover, furthermore, in addition, in addition to, besides, because of, for one thing, for another thing, most importantly, in ones opinion, to ones surprise, although, though, but, not only ... but, according to, but for, regardless of, for example, despite, in spite of, to tell you the truth, believe it or not, generally speaking, strictly speaking, as is often the case, not only ... but also, as is known to us, as far as we are concerned, in a word, because, since, to ones joy, owing to, due to。

第四,基本的语法错误应尽量避免,不要写不完整的句子,时态、语态的运用应准确无误,人称不要在句中突然转换,主谓要一致,上下文指代应该一致,名词单复数不要弄错,保证动词短语正确,形容词副词不要误用,还有从句中的连词不要搞错,如that,what就经常被学生弄错。

第五,学生在发表自己的观点阐明态度时,应以实际情况为依据,不能盲目扩大或缩小事实,胡编滥造会给阅卷老师留下态度不端正的印象。

第六,考生在细节上的疏忽也会影响得分的高低,如书写水平、字母的大小写、标点符号、卷面整洁度、单词拼写,甚至个人的书写习惯也会影响得分。另外作文字数的浮动区间不要超出±10个。

一、审题立意

分析近几年的四六级作文真题,不难发现四六级写作常见的题材主要有两类:一类是校园生活话题,包括学习、日常生活、工作及健康交际等;一类是社会热点话题。总的来说都是考生熟悉的内容,目的也是为了让考生有话可说。了解了这一点,下面我们具体来看下该如何审题立意。

1. 确定文章体裁和类型。四六级作文体裁一般包括议论文、说明文和应用文写作(包括书信、便条、通知、海报等)。作文类型一般是对比选择类、现象解释类、问题解决类及应用文类。审题时,明确试题要求,确定采用哪种体裁组文;分清类型,以利于整个文章的构思。

2. 立意。明确作文谈论的主要话题是什么--关于考试作弊、城市污染问题等诸如此类的其他话题。利用题目的关键词,分析题目涵盖了那几个方面的内容,尤其是侧重点。例如,“The World Is Getting Smaller and Smaller”,这篇文章的中心应该是“世界变得越来越小”,通过“交通和通讯工具的发达”和“人们交往的频繁”来论证“世界变得越来越小”。

二、构思组文

从四六级作文的评分原则与标准中可以看出一篇逻辑清楚的文章是容易得较高的分数的,因此作文的构思很重要,它决定了文章的整体框架。总的来说,三段式的文章结构是比较合理的。

三、文章写作

具体到文章的写作,涉及到词汇,句子及语法的运用。这部分很能体现考生的英语水平。除了考生平时的积累外,我们在这部分给考生提供适当的技巧以供参考。

1.遣词:

(1)适当使用“难词”

基本词汇的使用无可厚非,尤其对基础不好的考生而言是很保险,不会出错,但是也不会特别出彩。基础好的同学,建议在文章中适当使用“难词”。此类词汇的运用有助于提高文章的层次。比如,我们一提到“重要的”,大多数同学首先会想到“important”这个单词,那么提升一下的话就可以想到它的如下同义词:significant, vital, main, basilica, crucial, momentous ,etc.

(2)词汇的准确运用

英语词汇如汉语字一样,同样存在着一词多义的现象,即当我们想表达一个意思时,会想到很多同义的词汇。这是该如何选用这些词汇,这就涉及词汇的准确性。并不是文章中“难词”运用的越多越好,词汇的运用更要结合语境。比如,眼睛大,这个“大的”形容词,我们首先会想到big,近而想到great, large, huge, vast, titanic, enormous,etc.那么是不是用后面的词就可以了呢?或者说用上enormous等词更能博得阅卷人的好感呢?答案是否定的。在这里很明显用后面的词来修饰眼睛是不可以,只能用big,因为我们听过一首英文歌曲叫做“I am a big big girl, in a big big world.”big表示眼睛大而迷人可爱的。

2.造句:

(1)词组

词组在作文中的作用不容小觑,一方面可以帮助架构文章,使文章脉络清楚;另一方面可以使文章语言生动活泼,新颖脱俗。但是很多考生平时写作不太擅长用词组,对于他们而言习惯的就是想到汉语,然后对应汉语思维写出英语句子,这种写作只能是单词的罗列组合,谈不上什么技巧文采可言,因此,写出来的文章必然就是所谓平淡如流水,没有英语的味道。如何能让文章更具英语的味道呢?适当准确词组的运用。

(2)句式

除了采用词组,要使文章更具英语的味道,我们还需要变换句式。主谓宾、主系表是我们常用的句式类型,句式简单,但是运用这样的句式写出来的文章如流水账般,寡淡无味,让人没有读下去的欲望。如:My name is Li Lei. I am twenty years old. I study in Shandong University, and I have three years experience in Qilu Hotel.

句式的变换可以改变上述情况,让文章层次丰富,可读性强,具有动感性和节奏感。

英语四级的评分标准

大学英语四、六级考试的原始分数在经过加权、等值处理后,参照常模转换为均值为500、标准差为70的常模正态分数。同时,四、六级考试不设及格线,考试合格证书改为成绩报告单。

四、六级考试单项分的报道分为四个部分,这四个部分以及各部分所占的分值比例分别为:

英语四级各档的分数分布是:听力(35%)249分、阅读(35%)249分、综合(10%)70分、写作和翻译(20%)142分。

另外四级要550分以上(包含550)可以考口语,六级要520分(包含520) 各单项报道分相加之和等于报道总分。

四、六级的单项报道分也是常模正态分数,但参照的常模是相应的单项常模。

一、审题

大学英语四六级考试的作文要求或给出题目, 或规定情景, 或要求看图作文, 或给出每一段的第一句话要求续写, 或给出关键词要求写成短文。 作文的要求多种多样, 但一般都是给定作文的大体写作形式或提纲, 所以审题时要注意作文题目要求的具体内容, 才能有的放矢。

如2015年6月的四六级作文都是一幅图, 图中的内容都是展现了一种不良社会现象, 首先要求对这幅图进行描述, 然后对所给图的内容进行评价。 这道题其实已经很明确地说明了文章的写作形式, 即是一篇议论文, 作文的提纲也已给出, 即第一段对图的内容进行简单的描述, 第二段对图中所反映的现象的原因进行分析, 最后一段是自己的观点, 即解决问题的方法。 在审题过程中, 首先要抓住题目的主要内容, 如刚才所说的看图作文, 就必须分析图中所反映的现象是好的还是坏的。 如果把不良的社会现象当成是好的社会现象, 那么作文写得再好, 也不可能得到满意的成绩。

在审题的过程中, 要看到出题人给的写作提纲, 即首先对图中的内容进行描述, 再进行评价。 如果不按照题目的要求进行写作, 就不能得到高分。 由于考试只有30分钟, 审题时就应把自己作文的写作大纲列出来, 可以是在大脑内构思作文大纲, 或是写出几个关键单词, 在写作时再根据关键单词进行写作。

3.正文的写作。 在四六级英文写作中, 每段通常都有一个主题句、几个发展句和一个结尾句。 主题句是每一段的中心, 它提出段落的中心思想, 是该段内容的核心, 段落中的其他句子围绕这一主题句展开。 每个段落只能有一个主题, 这一主题必须紧扣整个文章的中心思想。 段落里的每一句都应围绕段落的主题, 如果要讲述另一主题, 那么必须另开一段, 在另外一段内阐述另外的主题, 而另外的主题也必须是紧扣整个文章的中心思想。 每一段之间必须连贯, 使整篇文章逻辑条理, 过渡自然, 结构紧密, 成为一体。 中间段的常用语有:However...;Therefore ...;In general ...;In contrast to ...;On the basis of the above ...。

4.结尾的写作。 结尾部分和开头部分同样重要, 因为它们分别是读者最先和最后接触的部分。 结尾部分是对开头部分及中间部分的总结, 进一步说明文章的中心思想, 最后得出文章的结论。 结尾部分必须认真对待, 不能直接重复前面文章的内容, 而应用不同的词组或语句强调文章的观点, 作出评论或提出建议, 提出解决问题的方法等。 结尾段的开头常用语有:I will conclude by saying ...;Therefore, we have the reason to believe that ...;All things considered ...;It may be safely said that ...;Therefore, in my opinion, it’s more advisable ...;It can be concluded from the discussion that ...;From my point of view, it would be better if ...

三、修改

文章写完以后, 并不是万事大吉了, 而是要从头开始检查, 检查文章中错误的单词和语法。 虽然四六级的作文题采用总体评分方法, 即阅卷人员就总的印象给出奖励分, 而不是按语言点的错误数目扣分, 但如果文章中单词和语法出现的错误较多, 即使文章写得再好, 阅卷者也不会给以高分, 所以在检查修改过程中必须认真把失误降到最低。 但是一般来说, 此时不应对句子进行大的修改, 一方面是由于时间比较紧, 没有更多的时间思考作文内容, 另一方面是由于如果修改太多, 就可能影响整个卷面的美观, 如果太乱, 效果就适得其反。 所以, 在最后的检查阶段, 要有所侧重, 争取卷面干净整洁, 语言流畅得体, 以期取得最好成绩。
